ORP Stampi launches the OPTIMOLD R&D project

Together with partners from the sector, ORP Stampi is participating in the Collabora & Innova call promoted by Regione Lombardia.

OPTIMOLD – Optimization of Elastomer and Thermoset Molding Processes for High Quality and Reduced Cycle Times

The project aims to significantly improve the efficiency of molding processes in the rubber and plastics industry.

In a strategic sector for the Lombardy economy, characterized by high production volumes, OPTIMOLD introduces innovative solutions to address the main operational challenges across the entire supply chain. Specifically, the Research and Development activities aim to reduce cycle times, energy consumption and costs, while increasing mold durability and product quality.

The adoption of advanced molding technologies and an integrated approach enables the overall performance of the process to be improved, promoting a modern, competitive and sustainability-oriented manufacturing model.
